Educational approach

At Holy Trinity Lutheran College our focus is on creating student-centred learning opportunities to encourage collaborative, creative, critical and curious thinkers. We educate the whole child, where the Christian faith underpins a firm foundation of spiritual and moral development.
Our students are nurtured and guided to develop the necessary skills to thrive in this ever-changing world we live in. Our teachers provide child-centred learning opportunities that prepare students for pathways of their choice while shaping their confidence, capabilities and character.
We have a rigorous and challenging curriculum that allows the school to nurture the social, emotional and academic potential of all individuals. This includes a strong emphasis on support and extension of the fundamental numeracy and literacy components along with a comprehensive range of core, elective, VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education), VET (Vocational Education and Training) and VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning) subjects.
The Junior, Middle and Senior School facilities focus on providing vibrant and well-resourced learning environments that complement the school’s philosophy and approach to 21st century teaching and learning.
